Six years ago today
my life changed
forever!
Today, I had some hard moments.
Moments where I was fine
and then all of a sudden
I was choking back the tears.
I think of my sweet Caylin
everyday! She will always live on in
my memory and my heart!

I want my girls to knowthey have a sister in heaven!
So today,
we released 6 pink balloons
into the
sky!
Only they got stuck,
when the wind blew them
quickly over into the maple tree next to us!
We had to laugh :)
June 30th is always a difficult night to fallasleep for me, since that is the night I
went into labor. {Caylin was born around
1:30am July 1st}
I wasn't able to fall asleep,
and right around that time
I heard little footsteps come into my bedroom
and the little sweet voice of
my youngest say,
"mom, I can't sleep,
can I cuddle with you?"
Just at the exact hour I
needed some cuddling!
Thank you Addie,
I treasure your sweet
spirit!

What a special gift from Addie (and our Father who knew just what you needed). ALL your girls are so precious!
What a sweet thing to remember your precious girl on her birthday! You are such a great mama! And isn't it amazing how God can use the littlest blessings in our lives to comfort us! Love it! Hope you have a great 4th!! xoxox
My daughters (6 & 8) enjoy knowing they have a big brother in heaven. Mine was a miscarriage so we don't have a day we celebrate but I tend to be really moody in Sept when I would have been due.
We did the birthday balloon thing in December for my brother-in-law's birthday. My oldest was born on his birthday and he went home to be with Jesus after fighting cystic fybrosis for 34 years and a double lung transplant for one and a half years. We got an extra mylar birthday balloon for him and all watched it go to heaven.
